About National Service Scheme

The College has two NSS units. Each unit consists of 100 participants. Hence 200 NSS volunteers have been trained on Personality Development, Health Awareness and Social service. NSS students have involved in activities such as College campus cleaning, Planting saplings, Rain water Harvesting, Blood donation, Eradicating plastic pollution, etc. This NSS wing of the college provides platform to the students to improve their soft skills by conducting career development Programmes, inspirational speeches given by experts. The NSS volunteers get motivated by organizing various activities that aim to understand themselves and the community, Promote leadership qualities, and develop a sense of social and civic responsibility. Dr. V.Saravanan Lecturer/ Mathematics and Mrs.K.Sankareswari Lecturer / Physics are the programme officers of the NSS units. The Principal is the NSS coordinator of the college.
